Blisland Beacon Event on Thursday 2 June

Join the Beacon Lighting celebration on Thursday 2nd June on Blisland Beacon. It promises to be a memorable, once in a lifetime event, in the long tradition of national beacons. The bonfire will be lit at 9.45pm, along with beacons all over the country to kick off the Jubilee festivities.

The supper party will start at 8.30pm.  Bring a drink – and if you if you haven’t managed to get a paella ticket (now sold out) you can bring your own picnic.

It’s out on the moor, so don’t forget to bring a torch, rugs or chairs and warm clothing. There is parking available at your own risk which will be signposted, please don't park on the moor or just off the road as we need to keep the road clear for emergency vehicles.

The location is the open access moorland next to Blisland Beacon SX 10620 73933. From the village green, go down Cassacawn Rd, turn first left at the signpost to Carwen, and the site is about 500 yds on the left. What3Words///mock.dolphin.mows
